Kyla’s first days at home...

Kyla comes home...
Kyla came home from the hospital for her first nap. Yes that is a lot of hair — just like mom:-) It is kind of good that there is so much sleeping going on the first couple of days. It allows time for everything to soak in.

Well, the nap lasted about an hour and then it was off to her first Incline Club run for her first “*” when she was just 2 days old! For those that don’t know about “*”s you get one for each Incline Club workout you come to. Yvonne and I both have perfect streaks going (33 Sundays and 13 Thursdays) in 2002 so it was nice of Kyla to be born in between a Sunday and Thursday workout:-) She even wore her Incline Club shirt to the workout. The white towel over her head was to keep her from bouncing around too much in the car because we left the insert at home.

A day in the life of Kyla





She looks so peaceful when she is asleep. We are lucky that we have a digital camera because we take a million pictures of her while she is asleep!

Every once and a while she does wake up and what can you do but... take another picture:-)

Kyla has just finished breastfeeding and is showing off her “got milk” mustache - or at least her milk lips and chin. It would take a ton of these photos to represent the time she spends eating!

We like to head outside for some fresh air. Since Kyla is so small we just walk her for now. We can’t wait until we can run with her.

But for now it is back home for another nap. She ends up with her hands and legs in the cutest positions.

Some positions are cuter than others:-) Kyla seems to enjoy the sound of a keyboard. Yvonne and I both do this on occasion.

Matt likes to take naps too but Kyla does not seem to mind...

Kyla really likes her baths...

After a bath it is time for... you guessed it... more sleep! She is sleeping inside of a breastfeeding pillow which is shaped like a big “C.”

Of course Yvonne can sleep with the best of them as well...
