Not too late to qualify for Ascent

New rules require all runners of the Pikes Peak Ascent to have a qualifying halfmarathon under their belt to sign up, and some would-be runners have had trouble finding a qualifying race.

The only one in Colorado before the March 12 Ascent and Marathon sign-up is the Gateway Canyons Better Half-Marathon on March 8. To sign up, visit active.com.
